1. Know that physics is applied mathematics
If you are doing well in mathematics, then you will most likely find physics easy to pass because it is simply applied mathematics. Most students who love mathematics have the luxury to choose physics as the other primary science because most concepts are shared between these two sciences. Therefore loving the two subjects is the key.
2. Attempting topical questions in every chapter is very important
Start with elementary principles of physics from form 1 then make sure you attempt all questions in every chapter up to forth form.

3. Learn how to read Physics
Physics is an applied subject. The theoretical part of it is minimal. In physics, cognitive skills are very important in the mastery of the content. Get out there and try to create practical sessions with the help of course books.

4. Physics Paper 3 (232/3) is the most important paper of all.
In marking of physics KCSE exams, physics paper 3 carry more marks weight that the other physics series of papers.
A person performing in paper 3 practical has a higher chance of making better grades than the person emphasizing on paper 1 and 2.
Reading for all the three papers is terrific in the improvement of grades but put more emphasis on 232/3.
