Ways in which Christians continue with God’s work of creation

Ways and Why Christians Care for God’s Creation Today

Through procreation.
By planting trees/ crops/ afforestation.
Through generation of electricity.
By helping the needy.
Through provision of medical care.
Through advancement of science and technology.
Through discovery and space exploration.
Through provision of education and training.
By establishing income generating projects in rural areas.
Through cleaning of the environment.
Through building and construction.
Through growth and development of industries.
By conserving and managing wildlife.

Outline Six Ways in Which Christians Care for God’s Creation Today

Keeping / maintaining personal hygiene
Practicing responsible parenthood/bringing up children well
Doing works of charity/helping the needy
Taking care of the environment/wild animals
Avoiding pollution
Preserving human life
Providing medical facilities and services
Condemning social injustices
Preventing soil erosion
Planting of trees
Cleaning the environment
Educating the public on the need to conserve the environment

Give reasons as to why Christians take care of God's creation.

1.	In order to preserve it for future generation a human being has an intelligent brain when compared to other God's creatures. Intelligence allows him to plan for the future and using historical events to avert disasters.

2.	To promote a healthy surrounding/prevent diseases Promoting a health surrounding and preventing diseases means that God's creations live a health life free from diseases.

In order to maintain its beauty/aesthetics</4>

maintaining beauty means more tourist attractions which leads to improved income that translates to improved lives of Christians.

31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.

It is the source of food/medicine/shelter

Genesis 1:29-30 Revised Standard Version (RSV)
29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

To preserve/maintain natural habitat for God’s creation

this ensures the continuity of God's creations. and because God has entrust us with dominion over all creatures, preserving natural habitats ensures that all God's creations are safe.

Christians should take care of God's creation in obedience to god, respect to God’s commands and as a duty from god.

7.	To attract tourists/for economic gain/national development. tourist attractions leads to improved income that translates to improved lives of Christians.
