Magoha's body language and use of communication skills shows that the Government is not ready to reopen schools
In a video posted by the Ministry of Education in its twitter handle April 14-2020, Education CS George Magoha seems to have no clue whether the schools will reopen in June, 2020 or not.
His use of body language and careless usage of words ascertain that the Government of Kenya has not yet decided to reopen schools on June,2020, due to Covid-19 epidemic.
In this video, he starts "we closed schools at the point at which the government closed school"
what a phenomenal use of language is this? especially from a professor.
Magoha goes further to dispel cries from parents who had suggested that students had lost a lot of time without learning even by suggesting he too is a victim but not worried.
He further says, the Government had planned to open schools either on first or second of June and that Kenyans should not be worried.
Was there really a plan?
If there was a plan, Magoha could not be speaking of first or second of June. He could be speaking of the exact date they had planned.
The Education CS is also not sure when, because he categorically says the opening of schools will be influence of Covid-19. He mentions influence from Mutahi Kagwe (CS Health)
Magoha says then 'I want to say this clearly' 'good!'- this is emphasis but goes further without disclosing his clear message but telling Kenyans there were events in closed doors.
He never mentioned the events.
Why did he put the emphasis?
There was a stammer somewhere............. about parents staying calm
Look at the movement of his shoulders and the head, it says something. Does he always do that?
"As at now 'moves the face mask up into place and says hey' as the head of this sector" ?????
we know you are the head of Education Ministry, Magoha. why remind us Proff?
But this one is clear. He does not see reasons why exams should be postponed.
Finally ladies and gentlemen no one is certain about when schools will reopen. Not even His Honor CS Edu. Proff. George Magoha.
