SETBOOKS IN USE BY THE CURRENT KENYAN FORM 3 CLASS (FORM 4, 2019)

iNTRODUCTION

In the wake of 2018, The Kenyan Ministry of Education {M.O.E.S.T} had announced change of setbooks for the current form 3 class who will be K.C.S.E candidates in 2019. Some of the books that were to be wiped out of the system include:

1. The Caucasian Chalk Circle by Bertolt Bretch and 
2. Betrayal in the City by Francis Imbuga.

The other two,

1. Memories we Lost by Chris Wanjala and
2. ​The Pearl by John Steinbeck

​were retained up to the year 2021. Another book 

1. Inheritance by David Mulawa

​will be introduced later to run until 2022.
