How can I create a good learning atmosphere

HOW CAN I CREATE A GOOD LEARNING ATMOSPHERE

​Creating a good learning atmosphere/environment is part of the learning process that affect and effect the absorption content the learner is about to learn.
A good learning environment requires motivation, concentration, willingness and free from distractions that may be caused by the physical and psychological environment.
Allow me to classify the conditions you require to make a good atmosphere for learning as either physical or psychological.
Physical aspects deals with the conditions that are tangible or visible to change. And psychological for aspects that affect the mindset of the learner that the learner needs to train himself to control or manage. 

​Physical Aspects

1. Cleanliness
   A clean room is a good environment to learn from. This is because it is free from insects and odour that distracts the learner's attention. Before opening your book to learn, make sure that your room is thoroughly cleaned and habitable with clean air, free from insects and other crawling animals and also free from dust
2. Quietness
   A good learning atmosphere should be quiet. This gives the learner a conducive environment off noise to concentrate 100%. Switch off electronics, keep children away and any other noise pollution devices.
3. Good lighting
   A good study room should be well lit to avoid eyestrain and struggles to properly see learning contents
4. Standard furniture
   Make sure that the chair you are sitting on has a straight backrest to avoid backaches, avoid sofa sets and stools. A sofa set may make you asleep and a stool will make you tired. Stop sitting on hard surfaces and embrace spongy seats but also avoid too much comfort.
5. Cool Temperatures
   Cool temperature are perfect for learning. Any temperature above the normal body temperature is a distraction to concentration. Your mind will be multitasking between concentrating and adjusting to the temperatures causing distractions.
6. Good health plus exercises before study
   ​Make exercises before beginning to learn. Eat health and train your body to flexibility. Good health ensures minimum distractions and improved circulation of air to the brain for use.

​Psychological Aspects

• ​7.  Your mind should be peaceful
  Set your mind to peace by default. Anything lack of peace in the mind is wastage of time.
• 8. Set your mind to have desire to learn and ready to receive knowledge
  Train yourself to set your mind to be ready to acquire knowledge. A growth mindset is good for learning and there are so many psychology books that train of the same that can be downloaded for free from the internet.
• 9. Before learning, empty your cup (pretend you know nothing on what you are about to learn)
  Before beginning to learn, convince yourself that you know nothing. Start learning knowing that you want to acquire knowledge that you didn't have. This is an exciting adventure.
• 10. Use at minimum three senses when learning
  ​Learning requires you to use a minimum of three senses namely: Sense of touch (writing), Sense of sight (Reading) and Sense of hearing (being attentive), then let the brain do the recording.
