Will students sit for KCSE 2020?
Since the outbreak of Covid-19, The government of Kenya has been disrupted in running of Government programs especially the education sector which has halted until further notice.
On March 15, 2020, the Kenyan government abruptly closed schools and colleges and up to date, there is no school that has opened its doors.
The Government under the Ministry of Education headed by Hon. Professor George Magoha has been consulting all stakeholders with the aim of finding a suitable date for the reopening of schools and in every attempt to do so, has been hampered by challenges which are unavoidable.
According to the Government, all schools are to open in September (the star) but they are yet to draft the timetable for KCSE and KCPE examinations.
