TPAD: Setting Targets

This is how to set TPAD Targets

• Have a meeting with your appraiser who could be the Sub County Director, Head Of Institution, Deputy Head Of Institution or Heads Of Departments  to identify the activities and timelines based on the targets under each of the TPAD Teaching Standards.
• Teaching Standards refer to set of requirements in TPAD process that define minimum competencies of a teacher. The standards form the basis for teacher Performance Appraisal.
• The teachers will be required to show evidence of performance in order to have an objective rating.

This TPAD Teaching standards include:

1. Professional Knowledge and Practice
2. Comprehensive Learning Environment
3. Teacher Professional Development
4. Teacher Conduct and Professional  and;
5. Participation in Professional Learning Community

Kindly note that the Teaching Standards may change from time to time.

• ​Prepare and submit schemes of work for approval by the 1st day of the term.
• Maintain and update lesson plans, teacher lesson  notes, records of work, learners notes and teaching learning aids.
• All these documents should be checked by the supervisor.
