It protects one honour, blood and wealth because repentance is accepted unless these are returned to their owners.
It eliminates anxiety, distress, and worry.
It brings peace and tranquility in the community as sinners give up sinning.
Love and harmony spreads in the society.
It brightens the heart which has been darkened by sins.
Forgiveness of Allah showers those who repent.
One is covered with the mercy of Allah.
Rewarded
To guide him to invite others to the straight path of Islam.
To condition him not to fear anyone but God.
To teach him not to hope an atom of benefit from anyone except Allah.
To accustom him not to loss courage in want.
It assures man that all matters follow a defined course, none overtakes its define course.

Differences between Shariah and Figh

Sharia is laid down by Allah and the prophet while fiqh is largely the result of human Endeavor.
It is a wider circle and embraces all human activities while fiqh is a narrower one an deals with legal acts.
Shariah is fixed and does not change while fiqh changes according to time and circumstances.
Its laws are general while fiqh are specific.

Sheikh Abdulla was a professional teacher but was later appointed as a senior khadi in Zanzibar
He solicited for funds providing education to Muslim children
He translated Quran into Kiswahili ‘‘Qurani Tukufu’’, which contributed a lot in the education of the people in East Africa.
He used a weekly magazine called Mwongozi of Zanzibar as forum where he answered religious questions from the masses.
He challenged colonial government to raise the standard of Muslim education to the same level as other communities in the country.
He propagated for the reformist teaching against ‘‘Bida’’ as non Islamic practices
His hobby was reading and it earned him a title (Bulul Kutub) which mean bookworm. This was given by one of his teachers which acted as an inspiration to the young scholars.
He taught many prominent scholars who continued with his practice of educating the masses.
He campaigned against retrogressive practices like not education the girl child
He became an inspector of school hence ensured quality standards of education
He travelled far and wide across East Africa region propagating Islam
