Differences between Ramadhan and other months of the year

1. Muslims fast the whole month of Ramadhan as one of the pillars of Islam while no any  other month whose fasting is obligatory as Ramadhan
2. It is the only month that has the night of power in it e.i Lailatul Qadr while the other months of the year do not have Lailatul Qadr
3. It is the only month in which the doors of paradise are opened and the doors of hell are closed while in the other months of the year the doors of the hell are left open throughout the year
4. According to the traditions of the Prophet (S.A.W) true believers are set free from Jahannam in every night of Ramadhan while in the other months people are not set free from Jahannam
5. It is the only month in which the rich Muslims feel the same pangs of hunger and thirsty with the poor while in the other months the rich live to enjoy themselves
6. A lot of kindness and mercy normally prevails amongst Muslims during Ramadhan by giving out charity to the poor and disable while the same kindness does not prevail in the other months of the year
7. The Holy Qur’an was first revealed in the Holy month of Ramadhan in the Lailatul Qadr from Lauhil Mahfudh to Baitul Izza while in the other months, Qur’an was revealed at different times and places
8. During the month of Ramadhan, Muslims do a lot of acts of worship e.g Qur’an recitations, Sunnah prayers (Taraweh) and attending darssas while this is not experienced in the other months
9. All the chronic evil spirits are locked in the sea for the whole month of Ramadhan and set free in the rest of the months of the year
